Hello, my name is Emily Nichols, I am a sophomore at Northport HighSchool. I have been in cheer for 10 years now. I started cheering on youth cheer from 1st - 6th grade. In 7th grade I was pulled up to the Junior Varsity team. 8th grade I joined a club team at Gravity Cheer. 9th grade I was pulled up to the Varsity team and will remain on this team until my senior year. I am always pushing myself to do better. I believe that no matter what level you are at, or what grades you get, you can always do better. I am hardworking and always push myself to do 110% whether it’s physically or academically. I have been through numerous mental blocks but no matter what, I always come out of them and become a stronger person. I am also a dependable person. Whenever I am not at cheer practice, I am constantly thinking about it or going over the counts and practicing my tumbling skills to always improve. I always bring a positive and fun attitude whenever I go. My goal is to constantly succeed in obtaining high skills and become a Crime Scene Investigator. Overall, I am a great teammate, who’s excited to be apart of a college cheer team & look forward to these amazing opportunities ahead.
