Kennedy Proctor '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a 4 year Varsity Letterman and an Honor Roll student.  I am a North Carolina All-Region Cheerleader and I was selected for the Warhorse Spirit Award my Junior Year.  My freshman year, my Varsity Cheer team won the Piedmont Pre-State Game Day Division against 5 other teams and we were given the Overall Game Ready Award.  In Eighth grade, I was Team Captain and awarded Most Valuable Player for the year.  This is my 12th year of Cheerleading and my 10th year of Competitive Cheerleading.  In Tenth Grade, I was a Finalist at the Division II Summit Championship in Level 4.  I am currently an Elite Tumbler in Levels 4 and 5, Team Captain for my Varsity Cheer team, and a 2022 UCA All-American.  I am a 2023 Division I Cheersport National Champion in Level 5 with my All-Star Cheer team at Designer Athletics!  I have a goal to finish my Senior year as a Division I Summit Finalist or Champion in Level 5.

I am a hard worker and I am an overcomer.  I have pushed through many injuries over the years and yet I still continue because of my love for this sport and my strong will to succeed.  I have had a broken nose, a torn meniscus in my knee, a torn lumbar in my back, a sprained ankle, and a fractured elbow.  I have overcome every single injury and every time I rise, it makes the victory a little more sweeter!  I know what it takes to keep pushing and never give up.  I give it my all whether it be in the classroom or on the field/mat.  I am a team player and I love my teammates. I would give the shirt off my back if I could and these characteristics are what set me apart.  I am a strong leader and believe that I set a great example for others to follow.

I have a goal to attend a Division I school for College, but I am also interested in Division II.  I would like to continue my Cheerleading career as a Collegiate Cheerleader.  I want to either compete at NCA College Nationals or become a UCA or NCA Collegiate All-American.  I am very interested in the fields of Radiology, Biology, and Obstetrics/Ultrasound.
