Throughout my student and athlete career, my coaches and teachers have described me as determined, focused, hard-working, and a perfectionist(sometimes to a fault). I’ve always thrived in a competitive environment ever since I was young and I love continuing to grow as a student and athlete. What I love most about competitive cheer is the hard work my team puts in and the positive encouragement we must give each other and ourselves to accomplish a clean and confident performance. What I love most about sideline cheer is working with the team to bring energy to the crowd and working on new routines every week. My proudest accomplishment in sideline cheer was getting pulled up from the JV team to compete with Varsity and helping the team win the TAPPS 2022 state championship. Although I love being a flyer, I believe my versatility with stunt positions and being a strong tumbler has made a positive impact on all my teams. I believe my work ethic and dedication will help me succeed as a student-athlete in college. I hope to study film and cinematography in college and continue my other passion in the arts, but to have the opportunity to continue that passion and cheer in college would be a dream.
