Jordyn Russell-Thompson '25 Recruiting Profile

Being a gymnast from 7-13 years old and having cheer influence my entire life, the mat has always been home to me. Having the gym as my safe space, I became an elite tumbling, gymnastics and head cheer coach at Alamo Gymnastics giving me an outlet to pursue my love for the sport and help my athletes become the best they can be. The family I gain from being apart of cheer is so important to me, making me a great teammate, pushing me to become better for the people I share the mat with, and always working to be coachable as well as intentional in every full out. The passion I have is unmatched because I believe its such a great privilege to have that community and believing that nothing can be achieved without hard work and dedication to the goal.
