My name is Shae Flynn and I am a junior at Mount de Sales Academy. I have been playing field hockey since I was 5 years old, and I hope to continue playing in college, most likely at a Division 3 school. I have played many sports throughout my life, but field hockey has always been my favorite. Being part of a team has taught me accountability, how to be supportive, and how to act like a leader. Although some would say I am "quiet," I like to think I lead by example. Working hard is a given for anyone who is on on the team, but working hard when things are not going well shows my dedication to my teammates and to myself.
