Before discovering my love for field hockey, I was a world-ranked gymnast at the age of 8 and competed in numerous competitions. We were state champions multiple years and as an individual athlete I had the opportunity to compete at the state, national and international level. At age 5 I started training and by age 6 I participated in the TOPS’s program and took the pre-olympic test to be considered for training at USA National Training Team Center at the Karolyi Ranch in Texas. While I no longer compete in gymnastics, I continue to stay active and have won my school's gold fitness award for my dedication to physical fitness. The work ethic that was instilled in me through gymnastics continues to stay with me in all aspects of life. In addition to athletics, I am also an honors student and maintain a GPA of 4.06.
I am a field hockey player with a passion for competition and a love for the game. As a forward, I have always been focused on making goals. Not just scoring goals, but passing in front of the net for an open teammate to score as well. I have been fortunate enough to achieve success in this area, ranking 7th in JPOL for goals scored, however I believe my assists out number my goals. My strength is moving the ball to open space and finding the open player. In addition to my club team, I have also had the opportunity to participate in the USA Field Hockey Nexus program, which has allowed me to compete at the highest level and improve my skills. I am lucky enough to attend a middle school that has a field hockey team. In 2022 I took on the role of a team captain, where I lead the team on and off the field. I just wrapped up my first year of high school field hockey, where I played in all 22 varsity games. We ended the season as New Jersey State Champions for the Non-Public division. I can not wait to see what next year will bring.
Outside of field hockey and school, I have a number of other interests and hobbies. In the spring I play lacrosse for my town and plan on playing for my high school team. I am a huge music fan and love collecting records from the 70's and 80's. I listen to them on my 50’s retro record player. My first concert was Pink Floyd's Roger Waters, and I have been hooked on live music ever since. I also enjoy painting.. My favorite painting is the one I did of Pennywise. Currently, I am working on painting the front of a ukulele. I also have a German Shorthair Pointer named SeaBiscuit that I love to play and snuggle with.
