Valencia Julien F...Personal Statement
My name is Valencia Julien, I am part of the Class of 2023 at Morristown High School in Morristown, New Jersey. I have played various field positions since the 4th grade, ultimately I landed in an awesome position as a goalie in the 9th grade. In my Freshmen and Sophomore's Junior Varsity seasons, I had a record of all games were shut-outs.
I am beginning to explore my college options and I am very interested in attending and playing field hockey. I am looking for a field hockey team at a college; distance, criminology/criminal justice and/or psychology and amazing student life.
What can I bring to the team? An authentic leader on and off the field; a down field vision to stay connected with the defense to communicate and organize the players; and a Keeper that strives to be better an athlete than the day before.
