Cara Mecca '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cara Mecca and I am in the graduating class of 2025 looking to play field hockey at the collegiate level. I play Field hockey and Lacrosse and I also enjoy working out. This year I was on Rome Free Academy’s varsity team as a defender. I am a defender for my club team, CNY Rage and CNY as well. I am always willing to push myself to another level,  I enjoy challenging myself, and look forward to competitive opportunities . The more I've been playing field hockey, the more I kept falling in love with the sport and I definitely want to play for as long as I can. I try my best to encourage my teammates to work their very hardest, push through, and to never give up. Playing at the collegiate level would be a fantastic opportunity to learn, improve, and get greater experience playing at whole other level, including my academics as well. Succeeding in both athletics and academics is a huge part of me.
