Cassidy Clausnitzer '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Cassidy Clausnitzer, and I am a sophmore starter on the Southern Lehigh Varsity Field Hockey Team. I live in Center Valley, PA with my mom, dad, and my two older brothers. My family and I are very athletically involved which has motivated me to be even better. My field hockey journey started in fifth grade when I picked up a field hockey stick and started passing with my mom in my backyard. My mom played field hockey in college, so she has always inspired me to do well in this sport. Some other sports I am involved in are basketball and lacrosse. I enjoy playing those sports especially in my free time. 

Playing field hockey has not only helped me stay in good physical condition, but has helped me mentally from pushing myself to be the best I can be. I know my limits and how I can push myself to go beyond those limits. My goal is to always do my best no matter what. My coach sees my potential and pushes me to reach that potential. Academically, I have the same motive. I always strive to get good grades and to do my very best on every test that I take. I would like to continue maintaining a GPA somewhat close to a 4.0 or above throughout high school. In college, I want to pursue that goal in hopes of being a great collegiate scholar athlete.
