2015 HighlightsPersonal Statement
"You're never a loser until you quit trying" -Mike Ditka. Persistence is paramount in the hopes of achieving a goal. Growing up, I never felt like I could mature into a developed athlete. I participated in gymnastics, swimming and basketball, but I never discovered the right athletic niche. When I went to my first field hockey camp in seventh grade, my tunnel vision broadened, and I quickly realized that I could play a sport and feel fantastic while doing it. I want to play collegiate field hockey because of the will to win from each of my teammates and the persistence it requires to achieve an objective. Academically and athletically I have the drive to get me through the most difficult times, winners never give up!

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. I take every core class that is offered at an honors level. I only take the mandatory electives like computers and physical education/wellness. All other classes are at the honors or AP level. This semester I am taking a dual enrollment class with a local community college. Senior year I am scheduled for all honors classes as well as AP Literature and AP Chemistry.Are you in AP/IB classes?
