Volleyball has always been a part of my life, from watching games as a little to aspiring to be playing as good as all the girls I watched. However, until 8th grade I never knew what a big impact the sport would have on my life. Since I stepped on that court as a player for the first time that's exactly what happened, the girls I met became more like a family and the sport became one of my greatest passions. Since then I've worked my hardest trying to better myself every practice in hopes of playing at the collegiate level.
Within volleyball I've been named one of the Schuylkill league all stars on first team sophomore and junior year. I had the best hitting percentage all 3 years I've played and though I've never officially been named captain I still take on a leadership role within my team.
However though volleyball is my biggest passion it's not my only passion. I'm also heavily enrolled in the arts being apart of marching band, concert band, and getting into county band freshman and sophomore year. I've been apart of drama club for many years as well. I also am a part of the varsity track and field team where I earned a 3rd place Schuylkill league medal last year in discus, and attended districts and leagues for both discus as well as shot put. Within school I'm treasurer of aevidum, a part of fccla, scholastic scrimmage. I also have just recently been accepted into the National Honors Society.
School is also my first priority whereas I can't be an athlete without being a student first. I am 24th in my class out of 162 people and maintain a gpa of 3.897 on top of everything else.
