Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Julianna Hamrock, and I'm in the 2027 class at Oakland Catholic High School. I am a goalkeeper for the varsity team at my school. I started practicing my field hockey skills in 8th grade but I have always had an interest in it because of my mom, who played in high school as well. I am hoping to play as a goalkeeper in college someday, while still pursuing a higher education. I have discovered that field hockey brings me great joy, not only because of my teammates but also the feeling of blocking a good shot. During my school's field hockey season and outside, I try to work on my skills and communication.
