Personal Statement

What makes me different as an athlete is my determination and commitment. I will promise you, if I am on your team, I will give you 100+% of myself everyday to improving, enhancing my skills and the teams to achieve our goals.
My mom always said I was 'naturally athletic'. I do love being active, exercising and playing sports. I played soccer and did gymnastics since I was 5. When I was a teenager, I found field hockey and I never looked back. As much as I enjoy other sports and have been successful in them, field hockey has become my passion.  Maybe athletic skills do come naturally to me, but I have found that focus, commitment and practice make a world of difference. Whether its on season or off, you will find me out on a field practicing. When I'm not practicing, I'm watching the professional players lead by example. I have learned so much over the past few years and my practice has paid off. I play mid field on my varsity HS team and club team but love every position out there. I'm fast, have strong stick skills, I know positioning and plays, and I encourage my team by communicating on and off the field. My goal is to continue to live my passion, by playing on a college team with an amazing coach and team that I can work with every day to grow together and win together.
My love of exercise has also led me to the gym in school and out of school. I have been in personal fitness class in HS for the past few years and have discovered that physical fitness training, sports science and physical therapy are all areas I want to focus on for my career. I'm excited to continue to learn and grow as an athlete and a student as I pursue a degree in Kinesiology.
Give me a shot and I commit to take shots everyday to help our team achieve our goals.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
