Hello Coach! Thank you for viewing my profile. My NCSA verified highlight video is below. Additional video is available on my Hudl profile page at the following link:

I finished this season as the team leader with 134 tackles (54 solos and 80 assist) with a 13.4 tackles per game average. I had an interception returned for a TD, several pass break-ups, caused several fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries. As a TE I caught 6 passes for 137 yards, one being a 42 yard TD reception. We ended the regular season as Area champions with an 8-1 record, our only loss against a larger AHSAA 3A school. Unfortunately, we lost in the first round of playoffs for a final record of 8-2.
I am looking for opportunities to continue my football career while pursuing my education. I attend a small private high school which competes athletically in the 2A class of the AHSAA, During my junior season (2012), I led the team in total tackles with 89 and returned an interception 20 yards for a TD. Throughout my career I have played several different positions on both sides of the ball, depending on the team's needs.
I have excelled academically with my highest ACT composite score being a 29. At the 2013 football season awards banquet, I received the "John O'Connell" award for the senior football player with the highest GPA (based on junior year grades) with a 3.86 in my core classes. I also received the equivalent awards my Junior and Sophomore years, the "Ned Jenne" and the "Joe Pelham" awards. These awards are named after our long time Head Master and two of the school's legendary teachers (chemistry and trigonometry respectively). My goal is to attend a 4-year college and compete on the football field. My interest is to major in either History or Political Science and to pursue an officer commission in the military.
This fall has been very busy and I am actively working to complete my college applications. If you think my skills can contribute to your football program, please contact me.
I look forward to talking with you,
#2, Hunter McEntire
