Evan Laughlin '25 Recruiting Profile

I grew up as a missionary kid in Cambodia and Bulgaria. This experience makes me unique. I also visit an orphanage in Tanzania each summer to serve the kids there. While overseas, the only sports I could play were soccer and basketball. My basketball team in Bulgaria was national runner-up. We arrived back to the states my freshman year and football had already started so I could only play basketball. I started at small forward and led the team in 3 pointers. Last season, I was starting at offensive guard for the football team but fractured/dislocated my elbow on the first drive of the season. I’ll be the starting center this year at a bigger school. I believe my potential is high in football as I continue to grow and get stronger. I’m striving each day to be the best version of me.
