Javier King '17 Recruiting Profile

I have always had a passion for sports and have participated in multiple sports throughout my life. I started playing football for my middle school team when I was in seventh grade and I knew that I found the sport that I truly love. After playing for three years on the offensive line as a Center and a Guard, I discovered the specialist position of Long Snapper. I started with a Rubio Long Snapping camp back in December of 2013 and have been practicing hard on my skill ever since. Playing a sport throughout High School has helped me to be a better and more focused student. Playing football has also helped me understand to not take anything for granted, starting in the classroom as well as throughout life.
To me, the best job that I can do as part of my career, will be to continue working with the game of football as a coach. In order to reach this goal, I think pursuing a career in education, and teaching my favorite subject of math would be another way to reach out to, and work with high school students.
