My name is William Johnson and I am 15 years, currently enrolled at Mckenzie High School. Being actively involved in my church and community has helped shape who I am today. I have played sports since a young age and have always loved the competition and adversity when playing. Through football I have definitely learned the amount of pressure that I put on myself. The pressure on myself most often reflects the expectations that I have for myself and the expectations of my coaches.
I am on track to graduate with honors and at the top of my class. For college my goal is to obtain a Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. The major obstacles that I have faced have mostly been caused by my fear of failure. Whether it's school, sports, or home life I have always been reluctant to fail. I believe being chosen to represent my high school at the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar shows my potential to be a leader and effective player on any team.
