I am the youngest of eleven children, and I plan to be the first male in my family to attend college. I have been the son of a widow for fifteen years. My mother has supported and motivated me my whole life. I saw her struggle to make ends meet every month for fifteen years so she could feed me and the rest of my siblings. She set the example in my life. I have grown to love the game of football because I have the chance to lead, and to be seen as an example.
What I love most about the game is playing my part and being part of a unit, a team. I love my position because defensive lineman see the most action. We get to hit somebody every play. I plan to pursue my passion at the collegiate level and graduate with a degree in Education, in hopes of being a football coach one day. With the chance of being a college athlete, I hope to extract more knowledge of the game from my coaches and teammates.
