Let me introduce myself. My name is Matthew Evans. I'm a senior at Buckhorn High School in New Market, AL. I'm the starting running back for the varsity football team. I would like to pursue my college degree in Environmental Health Science and at the same time continuing to play football and representing your school. I come from a strong military background with both parents retired Army veterans and the seven Army values were always instilled in me: Loyalty, Duty (fulfilling your obligation), Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Intregrity, Personal Courage. I have a strong foundation around me and I know it would continue to get stronger playing for you. I have always given my best in school and on the field and would continue to give 100%, if given the opportunity to play for you. I'm a quick learner and team player, but not afraid to let my teammates know there is no "i"in team. We are all held accountable for the position we play in football; We win as one and lose as one. I'm fully committed to learning and growing as a college football player. If given the opportunity to play for you and your team you won't have any regrets.
Thank you so very much for the opportunity.
