I have always loved the game of football growing up with my Dad as a football coach in Alabama and Florida for 20+ years and with two older brothers playing football and one playing college football right now. My aspirations have always been to play college football and continue it into the NFL. Throughout my life and football career I have overcame injuries and many of disappointing seasons.
As a Freshman I started in all three varsity sports of Football, Basketball, and Baseball. My freshman year I was thrown in the fire to start in the last 4 games of the year to make a playoff push. However, we did not succeed in that. As a Sophomore I helped lead the team to a 9-2 record and we hosted the first round of the playoffs. We recorded the most wins in a single season at Northside High School and hosted for the 2nd time ever in school history. I threw for 1,018 yards with only 104 attempts on the year which leads all time at Northside High School.
I believe that my experience of varsity sports will carry out through the collegiate level. Throughout my young high school career I have had to accept bigger roles to help my team succeed and that’s exactly what I planned to do.
I would like to attend a 4 year university and receive a bachelors degree for education to become a teacher and coach. After my playing career I don’t want to get away from the game because I love it too much.
I believe I am your best candidate as a leader, playmaker, and quarterback and I will prove that to you the day I step on campus.
