I am part of a long history of military service. My great grandfather (retired army), grand father (retired navy) and my dad (retired army), all of which have influence in my life as I have chosen to serve in the Navy after college. Growing up my dad served in both Iraqi and Afghanistan several times so it was always just my mom, 2 siblings and me for long periods of time, most times a year or longer. We grew up with him through letters and a occasional phone call when he could. I realized as I got older he and my mom did what they had to so that we could have the best future they could give us. My dads dedication to duty, my moms dedication to family and the sacrifices they made for us have showed me what it takes to be a man and when you commit to something you excel at it, no excuses, get the job done better than the man before me. That is the way I look at football, Wrestling other sports, JROTC and school, this is my job to be the best I can be at anything I do.
I started playing Football when I was 7 as a OG, DT, LB and Center throughout the years. I am now a high school senior, 3rd year 1st team Varsity Guard and Long Snapper. I enjoy the physical work and the relationships I have built with my team mates both on and off the field. I currently carry a 3.5gpa and rank 38th in my class if 268 but always have room for improvement.
I stay active/competitive in other sports, Wrestling, Track team (shot-put and discus, state qualifier 2021 discus)and JROTC. I understand fully that without the grades there would be no education nor sports which I learned that some time ago through my parents and the drive of my coaches. Football along with other sports one day will come to an end one day, it is your education that will carry you through success life.
