Forrest Wilkins '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was eight years old. Since the first time I stepped on the field eight years ago I have dreamt and made my dreams and goals to play at the collegiate level. College is the only option a kid has coming out of high school to play football, college football will not only help me fulfill my dreams and make more but will also change my life tremendously for the better.

I am always working hard, I am a leader both on and off the field, though I am goofy and I like to have fun when it comes time to work you will see me working. There is no such thing as the 'best' therefore I am nowhere near the 'best' I work everyday to become bigger, faster, and stronger! I try my best to be the hardest working athlete out there. I am very coachable and love constructive criticism, it only will make me better.

In the classroom, I work hard to keep my grades high and my GPA even higher. I am a very likable person and have a great relationship with my teachers as well as my classmates, I am always the one to pick people up when they are feeling down, I'm the type of kid to say 'hi' to everyone just to see someone smile. I am the kid in school that stands up against bullying, I am apart of something at my school called Unified Sports. Unified Sports is just like it sounds, its both boys and girls, and involves Special Needs student. It gives students with Special Needs the opportunity to play sports. It's awesome!

I would love to attend a college that is competitive and will push me to play at the best of my ability. As well as a college that will help me be successful in my career of choice. I do not have a specific college I would like to go to I ultimately want to find the best fit for me, and the college that will help me be successful in later life. In the end I push myself everyday to prove to the people who doubt me, that I will become something one day, as well as make my parents and family proud, nothing is better than having your family and parents say they are proud of you. Lastly, I would like people younger than me to look up to me, I want to be someone's hero.
