I come from a poverty stricken area with an unsuccessful football program, but I always saw it as my way out. I have dreamed of playing professional football since the fourth grade. In college I would like to participate in football and win titles, but more importantly further my education and strengthen my relationship with God. I am a good candidate for your team because I am a hard worker who is not afraid of extra work to better myself and those around me. Also I have respect for my upper-classmen and coming off the sidelines as a freshman or sophomore wouldn't bother me. If we are successful I'm happy. If not I will work as hard as I possibly can to change that, whatever my role may be. My character can be best described by others as a good hearted fun loving guy. Athletically I am a good run stopper on defense, and on offense I'm a good pass blocker. I play center and defensive end so I'm a versatile athlete but I am defensive minded by heart. I view my in classroom productivity as important as my on field activity because without education I know there is no football in my future and I refuse to have my love of football taken away from me simply because I didn't study for a test, or complete my homework.
