Personal Statement

Give me the opportunity to shine, and you will not regret it.

The philosophy that I have for my work is "Everything that we do speaks for us." On the field, school, work, anywhere, if you deliver an average job or give an average effort, that speaks of you, like another one from the pile, and I don't like to be another one from the pile. This is why I guarantee that you that, as a coach or as a teammate, you can observe my passion and commitment to this sport, during the training sessions or in the game-days, because my head is focused on achieving more than we can imagine.

I know what hard-work means because it has helped me to improve myself and beat the goals that I have set for myself along the way. As a result, it has also taught me how important is to be responsible, honest, and respectful inside and outside the field. Equally important, I know what pain feels like because I have been disappointed, aimless, and even discriminated against because of my nationality, but thanks to these situations, my mentality has become stronger and it made me keep going, regardless of the conditions, the people or the problems.

Throughout my life, I have had to make important decisions in difficult moments, decisions that need sacrifices, and to leave your comfort zone to show your face and your honour. I do not regret anything even though some days I feel tired, or feel sad for being away from my family and friends, I do not regret because all this effort will be worth it when I reach the top and all those moments that I cried, and I miss my family will vanish because they, like me, will be so proud of everything that I have achieved and I will able to return to my town with my head held high.

So, if you are looking for an average athlete, without goals to improve itself, and is going to waste your time as a coach, this is not his profile.
