Thank you for your interest in my profile. I am currently the starting center on my middle school tackle football team. I have been playing football since I was 6 years old and when people would ask me what I wanted to do when I got older playing football was first on the list. Now I know the hard work I have invested in football training can be an opportunity to help me into colleges I may not have otherwise had an opportunity to get into. I know playing football in college will keep me around like minded people and coaches that will help keep me working in the right direction to keep me in shape and on track with academic requirements.
I have gone the extra mile and started offseason athletic training since I was 8 years old and played basketball, baseball, and 7v7. I have met a lot of great people who invest their time helping me get better and stronger and I appreciate them. I have been a team captain in my youth football team the last 4 years leading by example and encouragement. I remember receiving compliments early in the season from opposing coaches who would ask 'who is that center?' and my coach would say, Captain Alexander, and they would tell him they thought I would be their choice for the All Star Center for the league division. I am not opposed to any position and have done well moving and learning new assignments and skills over the years.
COVID gave me an opportunity to find new sports while a lot of organized sport in California was closed down, and now I love snowboarding, paintball, and scootering. I have been able to go to work with my dad on jobs during the summer and help on projects with other workers trusting me with tasks throughout the day. This year has been really fun helping run conditioning and defense drills at my little brothers football team practices.
I have recently transferred to a college prep middle school to better my academic studies. I have made a great transition into this school and made a lot of friends and have engaged in tutoring and attended a school retreat this year where my principal invited me to join the student council. I am excited about the opportunities for volunteering I will be able to put on my list later in the year. Here I have met coaches who are able to share actual college football and NFL experience with me and I am certain these are the people I need to be around to keep me successful in my journey through high school and college and could not be more appreciative for them sharing their experiences.
I am excited about presenting myself through this student athlete platform with my parents and recruiting coaches.
