Jake Dowd '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0", 210 pound linebacker from Modesto, CA and will graduate in the 2011 class. I have 8 years of football experience. I have a 3.4 cumulative GPA, 1630 SAT and took All-Conference Academics two years in a row. This year I took First Team All District LB, All-Conference Defensive Player of the Year,MVP, and First Team All-Conference Defense. This year I also took Air Force Maxpreps Player of the Week. This last summer, I went to the Sports International Lorenzo Neal Football Camp and recieved the Best Linebacker Award out of 2000 kids. I was rated #5 on maxpreps for tackles in California and #36 in the Nation for the regular season. I realize I have started this recruiting process late, but I still want to pursue playing competitive athletics and am open to explore opportunities at DII and above. I am looking for a college where I can obtain a degree in business/marketing. A good Christian environment would be great, but not necessary. Again, I am open to playing at DII and above.
