As a child I was never really that active in the field of sports. When I was 5 years old, I found that I enjoyed watching baseball and decided to play. I caught onto the basics really quickly. Baseball got me started however when I was 7 years old, I really wanted to play with girls that shared the same talents as me. After playing for a short time, I decided I wanted to become a catcher, however, instantly I knew that it wasn't my love. Starting as a catcher, I saw the art of being a pitcher and knew that it was the position I wanted to play. Since that moment, I have worked everyday to become stronger and more knowledgeable as a softball player, especially a pitcher. I feel that I would be a great asset to your school because I strive to be the best that I can be academically and athletically. I have a positive attitude no matter the situation. I am a great leader and can step up to a challenge as well as a great follower to my coaches and teammates. I am dedicated to my academics, passionate about softball and work hard at both. I’m coachable and value accountability to help me improve. I’m searching for a college that will support me through my choices in what I want to become in life and what I desire to do on and off the field.
