Mitchell Ulrich '18 Recruiting Profile

I have loved the game of football for as long as I can remember and have been playing since I was 8. This sport is more than a season for me, it’s a way of life. I am a 6’7”, 275 lb. lineman starting my senior year at Ripon High School in Ripon, California. Throughout the years, I have been moved all over the line and played both sides of the ball. My experience ranges from centering the ball and playing tackle, to nose guard and defensive end. Like most players, I have spent countless hours practicing, working out, watching film, and studying plays. What sets me apart though is my determination, analytical ability, and belief in the true meaning of “team”. I was honored to be voted captain by my teammates this season and have worked hard to uphold this privilege.

I am an above average student with a 3.4 GPA and have taken a total of 6 AP classes.  I have completed 3, passed the exams, and am currently enrolled in the final 3. I have spent the last 4 years involved in Leadership and Student Government where I was voted into the offices of School Vice-President and Senior Class Treasurer. I am also the current President of the Film Club and a member of the Interact Club. I have stayed active in the off season by wrestling, playing basketball, and baseball. I have also worked part-time for a local restaurant. Although I’m unsure of my course of studies in college, I would like my career to focus on public service.
