Orlando Zepeda '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Orlando Zepeda. I go to St. Paul High School in Santa Fe Springs. I have a 3.7 accumulative GPA and just finished the first quarter of my senior year with a 4.0. I JUST WANT A SHOT TO PLAY COLLEGE FOOTBALL. Scholarship, walk on, I just need an opportunity and I will prove myself. I am the son of a coach who has coached at the high school and college level for 27 years. Growing up on the sideline I fell in love with the game of football. I Grew up around my dad's teams seeing the good and the bad of football. My dad taught me everything I know about football, giving me a high player IQ, and taught me how to lead a team. I am a 3-year varsity player, a 2-year starter, and elected captain by my team this year. I am an explosive player who can make a big play anytime I touch the ball. I also compete in track and field. I am a 3 time CIF high jump finalist and 2023 CIF High jump Champion. My best jump is 6 feet 4 inches. My goal senior year is 6'8. I also competed in the 100 yd sprint. My personal best is 11.3 and looking to get it down to 11 flat my senior year. My football season has been great so far and my highlight tape will back that up. Something that sets me apart is my kickoff and punt returns which I take advantage of any chance I get. Thank you
