Daniel Watts '11 Recruiting Profile

Hi I am Daniel Watts. I am 5'10' 185 lbs, 40 yd time: 4.6 sec. I can play almost every skill position on the field. Whatever position you want me to play, I will play to the very best of my ability. I have competed on the varsity level in all of my sports for the past 2 years and will during my senior year as well. My favorite sport is football. During my freshman year, I was the MVP of the freshman football team. As a sophomore, I was moved up to varsity and was voted All-League. My junior year, I was All-League and a Hometown All-Star.So far in my senior season I have been named a Hometown All-Star,voted by the fans into the US Army Arena bowl and multiple player of the week nominations also won team MVP. I am a great team leader and can get a team pumped up when they are down. Through my first years of high school I have worked hard just waiting for my senior year to arrive and here it is! I am not to sure exactly where I want to attend college, but would like it to be in California or close to the West Coast. I plan to major in biology/life sciences and/or history. I am looking for a medium to large school with great academics, as well as a competitive football team. As an athlete, the "competition" factor has been the thing that really gets me going. I have trained in the gym year-round during all of my years of high school sports, so that I can be ready for the next challenge.
