My name is Obiajulu Omekagu Ogbuagu. I have engaged in active sporting activities since I was 4 years old. I played competitive youth soccer, track and field, basketball and baseball. I am currently on West Ranch High School Varsity Football team and Track and Field team (100m, 200m, 4 X 100 relay). My PR the last Track & Field season in 100 meters is 10.99 seconds.
I play as a Defensive Back on the West Ranch High School Varsity team. But I can also play other positions. I am fast, strong and reliable offensively and defensively. I hope to continuously improve my skills off and on the field to help my team win championships and play in college. West Ranch High School won the Foothill Football League Championship in 2022.
West Ranch High School finished 2nd this Football season. I was selected 1st Team Defense, California Intercollegiate Federation (C.I.F.) Southern Section - Foothill League 2023 All-League Football Teams.
I have true passion for the game of Football. The journey may be long and task daunting though but, with grit, determination and perseverance, I hope to grow up an accomplished sportsman, a responsible member of my community and the society hoisting the flag of my heritage with pride.
