One of my initial goals is to be able to graduate high school early and potentially enroll in the spring semester. I have always maintained a 4.0 GPA while taking courses that are one to two grade levels above my academic class. I hope to earn a bachelors degree in sports medicine or another field along the lines of sports and nutrition, and further pursue a graduate degree along the same line. Of course, I'd like to pursue these degrees while playing football or baseball.
Traits that make me a good candidate for a team are my drive, work ethic, and my intelligence. I have consistently put in hours upon hours of additional work in the weight room, on the practice field and looking at film. This preparation has helped me earn the starting QB position on the Falcon High School JV team, despite only having moved to the school 4 weeks prior to the first game. Through my parents background of service in the military I have learned the importance of integrity (making the right choices, even when no one is watching), personal reliability and responsibility (holding myself accountable for my actions and not displacing blame on others) along with respect for self and others. All of these attributes have led me to being a Captain of my JV Football team as a Freshmen, being one of the first Freshmen selected as a starter on the Varsity team at Kaiserslautern High School, and being only one of 12 people selected in the European Region as an Academic All-American with a perfect 4.0 GPA. My diversity as a military child, has afforded me the opportunity to play competitive baseball and football in Ohio, Germany and now Colorado. These moves to different parts of the US along with Europe have helped to fortify my inter-personal relationship skills making me an ideal person to deal with adversity both on and off the field.
