Personal Statement

(Committed to Drake University)

I've been involved in football since the 5th grade.  I love competing against other kids and striving to be the best player I can. As the years have passed, I realize that football isn’t just about playing the game, it’s about the experiences you have, and the responsibilities you are given. Playing football prepared me to be the student athlete that I am now. I always place myself in a position to be a leader on the team I am playing on. I want my teammates to trust and believe that if they do what I do, we will be able to succeed together. Since I started playing, I’ve wanted to play at the college level; I want to see how I compare to other players around the country. When I play at the college level, I will work hard to be the best student athlete I can, by studying in the classroom, lifting in the weight room and always playing the game of football with 100% commitment.  I want my actions on and off the field to be an example to those around me, hard work, focus, and determination will always result in a positive outcome. I have 1695 yards (1373 rushing) and 106 points in the ten games of 2013.

Please see Video below for Highlights of first 3 games 2013 (709 yards in three games)

I  had straight A's last year and currently have straight A's in my coursework including an A+ in AP Physics.

CAMPS: Drake, Valparaiso, University of San Diego (Team Camp) June 23-27. New England Elite Camp July 1-3

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
