Samuel Ragland '17 Recruiting Profile

Looks great. Tweaked a few things below:

I am a running back from Bear, Delaware. I have started on The Tatnall School varsity football team for four years as a running back. I was 2nd team all conference as a freshman and have been 1st team all conference ever since. This past season, I rushed for nearly 1,300 yards and 22 rushing TDs, averaging 9.9 yards per carry. In addition, I had 2 receiving touchdowns and 2 punt return touchdowns. Not only was I a 1st team all conference running back, I was 1st team all conference as a returner and 3rd team All-State running back. For my career, I have over 4,000 yards rushing, over 5,000 all purpose yards and over 70 TDs.

I have been a captain for 2 years. I consider myself a leader both on and off the field. On the field, I am a vocal leader but I also lead by example. I get my teammates pumped up before and during games. I give 100% all of the time and hold everyone to that same standard. Off the field, I push guys to study hard and strive to be their best. Grades come first and are very important. I also consider myself a workhorse. I have a motor that doesn't stop. I always grind for extra yards and get alot of yards after contact, especially on 3rd and 4th down. I don't get tired in the second half and only get stronger down the stretch. I am also very versatile. I have great vision and am very quick. I also have very good hands and can catch passes from the backfield or in the slot. I also kick return and punt return. In addition to all that, I play defense when needed. In all the big games and big moments, you can find me on the field.

I am looking for a school that is competitive in the classroom and on the field. I want a school that will help me acheive my goals athletically and academically. I am open to all regions and all Divisions. I am looking to pursue something in the medical field.
