I'm interested in playing competitive football for a team that can help me continue to grow as a player and will challenge me physically. I've been passionate about football since I was 6 years old when my father and I would watch the games together. I always wanted to play for my school however I was a small kid so was turned down multiple times. Despite the embarressment I refused to give up. I realized I had to be persistent and continue to prove myself in order to be recorgnized. When I got the opportunity to play JV in 9th grade I made sure I was going to make the most of it. I showed up to every practice and took every opportunity to workout. When I wasn't put in for the first game I didn't let that get me down. The next game I was put in the 2nd half and the 3rd game I was made a starter. By the end of my 9th grade JV season my coaches moved me to varisity and I never missed an opportunity to practice or train with or without the team. During summer camp at the end of my 9th grade year my coaches saw my growth and decided to make me a starter on varsity for the first game of my sophmore year. Every game I watch film of the opposing team and breakdown my matchup studying his weaknesses to see how best to take advantage. Studying film has also taught me how to read the teams tendencies and know what their doing. My coaches now see me as a leader on the field and trust my abilities. I'm excited to continue to work hard and continue to grow physically, competively, and academically.
