Shelton Quarles '20 Recruiting Profile

I grew up watching my father play professional football.  As most sons, I aspired to follow in my father's footsteps.  It is going to be a very big undertaking because he has done many great things in college, professional and post career.  But it is very important to me to make a name for myself and not rely and what my father has done in the past.   I aspire to be a student first and hopefully use football as a vehicle to further my education.

One of my strong attributes is being coachable.  I know that I can learn from every experience and always try to find out how I can do things better.  My athletic ability is God given but I know that I can always work to improve on my natural abilities.  

Building long lasting relationships with classmates, teammates and coaches is something I am looking forward to when I get into college.  I know that the people I meet in college can help me to grow in the years to come.
