I take the means in Student-Athlete seriously. In class, I strive to do the best and be the best whether that's in completing assignments on time or being a role model for classmates on how to act and respect my teachers and peers. I translate that to the field by being coachable and a hard worker. I make sure I have my team's best interest at heart. If that's holding my team accountable for their actions or having their back on and off the field.  Being an Athlete has had a huge impact on my life teaching me responsibility, accountability, and a new meaning to the word F.A.M.I.L.Y. which means Forget About Me I Love You. That has changed my mentality to be less selfish and to know that I am a part of something bigger than myself.
