Connor Plummer '25 Recruiting Profile

I am 15 years old, 6'6' and 250 lbs. I have been playing football since I was 10 years old.  I started with flag football because my mom was convinced I would be injured immediately. At 12 she allowed me to finally play tackle. I started with an AAU team and was lucky enough to be coached by  Ike Taylor, retired Steelers Defensive back.  Since I first stepped on the field, I knew this was where I was meant to be. I have aspired to play at the collegiate level since then. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.

I am always working to improve my skills as well as training to get bigger, faster and stronger. I am a team player and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.

In the classroom, I work hard and currently maintain a 3.4 GPA.  I have been enrolled in advanced classes since the 6th grade.  I am a sophomore and only have 4 classes left to graduate high school. I also volunteer as an assistant coach at the local flag football youth program and have helped coach our team to win a championship. 

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
