My collegiate goals and aspirations are to graduate with a degree in criminal law and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher while playing the sport I love. I am going to strive to be a starting player during my freshman year in college and will work to my full potential on the field as well as in the classroom. This will enable me to be better equipped to support myself and my future family. I am a good candidate for any team because of my dedication, devotion, commitment and undying love for football. What makes me different in the areas of character, athletics and academics is the fact that I am a leader. I am a leader that works hard and strives for perfection. I do not believe that practice makes perfect, but that perfect practice makes perfect.
I, Levarence Gilliard, am a hard worker who embodies a great work ethic. My GPA of 3.6 is a testament to my hard work on and off the field. I am a student of the game and I have played football since I was three years old. I remember the times when my equipment weighed more than I did but I still wobbled my way on that field because my love for the game overwhelmed my discomfort. I would be the perfect fit for any college because I am very coachable and I have all of the mental and physical attributes required for my position. I am also versatile in the positions of corner, safety, strong safety and free safety.
