I knew I wanted to play football since I was only 7 years old. During a two hand touch football game my counselor recognized my strength and speed and asked me if I've ever played football. I replied no, but at that moment I knew this was the game I wanted to learn and play. I've learned that its not only about physical strength is also about mental strength. I learned, I not only have to play the game, but I also have to understand it. I realized Football is 90% mental and 10% physical. My love for the game has allowed me not only become a better player but also a better student of the game. My academic goals are to maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher while maintaining a positive attitude both on and off the field.
When I first started playing Wide Receiver it was not always easy at one point in the season I was not playing well, but my Parents were there to support me and lift my confidence. I realized that as long as I have confidence in myself I can do anything.
I look at myself as a Natural leader, a person that sticks up for others, a person knows that doing right is not always easy, but I rather be right by myself than wrong with the crowd.
