Upon graduating from high school I aspire to play basketball at the collegiate level while obtaining a degree in nursing with the focus of starting my career in obstetrics.
As a multiple sports athlete I have developed many attributes such as discipline, mental toughness, resilience and a leader, through Flag Football, Cross Country and Track and Field. These sports are all team sports that require individual toughness, teamwork and leadership for the team to be successful. Participating in these sports have contributed to my athleticism and my passion to compete at a higher level.
I have strong ball handling skills, soft hands, dynamic defense, strong court awareness and high basketball IQ. As a team leader, I encourage my teammates on and off the court, by motivating them to work hard in the classroom and on the court. In addition to offering myself consistently as a volunteer to aid in demonstrating new drills and plays during practice, I’m actively seeking ways to exemplify skills obtained as a benefit of being coachable will have on one’s athletic ability to my fellow teammates. I strive to work hard in everything I do and as a recruit I will uphold such values.
As a student athlete it has become muscle memory to study and work hard to maintain a GPA of 3.59.To further simulate a student athlete environment and transcend my educational potential. My most proud accolade received is All Metro Conference for West Orange County in Basketball and Cross Country. I have also been accepted into the National Honor Society. Currently I volunteer with two organizations the first being The City of Orlando to coach youth basketball teams in City league basketball. While concurrently being a volunteer in the youth ministry at my church, Rejoice In The Lord Ministries.
I want to attend a college where I am challenged in the classroom academically and on the court athletically. I am open to all options and ultimately want to find the right college match where I can meet my goals. I will work hard to be a great role model for my teammates and youth in the community.
