I can not remember a time in my life before football. Before I was allowed to play for the park, I carried around a football everywhere we went. We would play in the parking lot after church, or anywhere I could find the space. My mom finally allowed me to play after their divorce since we relocated to Georgia. That has been the biggest obstacle for me trying to pursue my dreams in football because we have had to move around a lot. When coaches see that you have more than 2 high schools listed, they don't assume that the student may not have had a choice. They automatically assume that the student was changing schools for a perceived "better opportunity" or that they were not coachable.
It isn't all about winning for me; I just love the game! I truly am a team player, and my teammates become like family. I never have to have the spotlight on me as long as I am on that field, and I do have the patience to wait my turn. I am passionate about football; I am a leader; I get along well with others, and oh yeah, I run pretty fast!
