Position: Goalkeeper
Club: Atlanta United
I am a respectful, committed, dedicated hard working leader; with a humble yet confident demeanor.
As a student I am a self-motivated self-starter, working hard in the classroom and at home, striving to maintain my 4.0 GPA.
On the field I am a passionate, assertive, highly competitive athlete. Scouted to join the MLS’s Atlanta United Academy program from U12, I have received the country’s top coaching and competition, elevating my game and mindset. I am currently in the U14 US Youth National Team Player Pool.
A naturally left-handed and right-footed player, I am equally confident on both sides. I am tall at 5’11 (14 yrs) strong and athletic. I have the explosive ability to make the top hand upper 90 stop or agility to make the low diving save with quick reflexes to deal with reaction shots. I command my box, claiming any high ball with a calm and controlled confidence and bravery in 1v1 situations. I feel my greatest strength is the way I read the game and direct my defense; I believe goalkeepers should be shot preventer not just shot stoppers. As a positional keeper, being in the right place at the right time eliminates the need for unnecessary flamboyant stops. A striker at heart, I see myself as the first line of attack, preferring to hold the ball over parrying, I like to take control, relieve pressure and able to look for the counter-attack. Seen as an extra sweeper I confidently switch play, clear my line or chip the pressing attackers, my distribution whether a well-timed throw into space or an accurate side-volley is an added weapon.
I have aspirations of playing professionally, but equally know the importance of a great education. I am open to travel out of state for College and am looking for a D1 school with a high academic reputation.
