Personal Statement
I love the game of football because it is the world's greatest team sport. As a team captain, I have an awesome opportunity to make everyone around me better. My leadership experiences in football will help me become more successful in life and in my future career.
My dream of playing college football has turned into a goal. I continue to push myself to be the very best I can be, including a better person, teammate and football player. Academics always come first, as demonstrated by my 4.0 GPA. I have never received a B or lower on a report card because I push myself to do my very best all of the time. That translates to the football field as well.
I love to compete and I believe that I thrive in pressure situations. I have demonstrated that in my 3 TD pass performance as nationally ranked quarterback in the FBU All-American Game in 2017 (US Army All-American Game/Middle School). After a shoulder injury in 2018 that impacted my ability to play quarterback (and kept me out of my sophomore season), I switched to Wide Receiver in 2019 and made a great positive impact to my team and helped lead us to the Georgia 1A Private state title game as a two-way starter (WR/SS), made All-Region as WR and the second best finish in school history.
