Personal Statement

I love the game of football because it is the world's greatest team sport.  As a quarterback, I have an awesome opportunity to make everyone around me better.  My leadership experiences in football will help me become more successful in life and in my future career.

My dream of playing D1 College Football has turned into a goal.  I continue to push myself to be the very best I can be, including a better person, teammate and football player.  Academics always come first, as demonstrated by my 4.0 GPA.  I have never received a B or lower on a report card because I push myself to do my very best all of the time.  That translates to the football field as well.  I work with a very good quarterback trainer during the offseason to get better at my technique and I always challenge myself to improve.

I love to compete and I believe that I thrive in pressure situations.  I have demonstrated that in my 3 TD pass performance in the FBU All-American Game this past year, as well as during my school's  championship run through the playoffs last season, leading them to an undefeated record and all-time best point differential in our school history.
