Personal Statement
My name is Kevin Croft and I am currently a Senior at Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian, Idaho. Since I can remember, I've always been a starter on the field. I've been a guard and center for 8 years now and I absolutely love it. Football is my passion and even through COVID-19, I'm lifting 5-7 times a week and developing my skills as an offensive lineman. Coming into my senior year, I've never been more dedicated to win a state title than I am now! In fact, throughout high school, I've earned the Uncommon off-season award 3 times. Being Uncommon for Rocky football means you have at least 85% attendance in the weight room and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.1. I've been a captain of the football team for 3 years (at each level). As a freshman and sophomore, I was brought up to Varsity for the postseason and my sophomore season, our team won state and finished undefeated 12-0. Winning state was incredible, but it was especially meaningful because my older brother was a senior for that state team as a receiver. As a junior this year, the football season was great. I started at guard, number 77, and our season had the making of another state championship. During the regular season, we went 9-0 but came up short in the semi-finals against the team who eventually won state. My goals for college are to play football and pursue a career in computer sciences and mathematics.
