Derrik Starrett '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Derrik Starrett and i play football for Marquette Catholic High School. I am 6 foot 4 and 225 pounds. I play linebacker, defensive end, tight end and fullback. I ran my forty yard dash in 4.7 seconds during tryouts this year. I was one of the top lifters on our power charts for the team and selected to the second team all conference.As well as all conference accolades i also recieved all area recognition from the telegraph. The Knight of Columbus Quarterbacks Club also awarded me with the honor of defensive lineman of the year. I was voted team captain by the team and i have a passion for all the sports i play. I go 110% at every sport i participate in. I was selected all conference and all area in basketball as well as an all sectional honorable mention. I want to go to school for educational purposes and i see football and sports as a way to pay for those. My family is a little tight on money so any money i could possilbly recieve for my educaton would be greatly appreciated. I have not decided on a major but i would probably like to attend a school with a reputation in the scientific area.
