Brayden Pierce '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brayden Pierce.  I have played organized football for 16 years.  In those years I have played almost every position except interior line and running back.  I believe having that experience has allowed me to be a more complete student of the game.  It has also built in me a strong appreciation for every player's role on the team.  Above all, I am a football player with a passion for the game.  At the Varsity level I have played five positions on the defensive side, one on the offensive side, and multiple on specialties, including short and long snapper.  My coaches and teammates know they can count on my preparation and leadership.  I pride myself on not only knowing my role on the field but also being able to get my teammates in the correct positions to give our team the best chance for success.  I would truly love to keep playing football all the way to the professional level, if possible.  While at college I fully intend to earn a degree, not just play sports.  I have over a 3.5 GPA and scored a 21 on my first ACT.  My actions and progress show I am a really hard worker in the weight room, on the practice field, and in the classroom. I believe I am a role model for underclassmen coming into the program.  I am showing them not only with grades and football but also with my off field discipline by keeping away from smoking, drinking, and drugs...and trouble in general.  I feel I would be a great asset to any school and its football program.
