Personal Statement
Dear Coach,
First I want to thank you for viewing my profile, and taking the time to acknowledge my accomplishments. My name is Jeruel Taylor, running back for Marian Catholic high school in Chicago Heights, IL and a graduate of the class of 2012. I'm 210 pounds and 5 ft' 11. I believe hard work will pay off in the end, and until then why not keep working and surpass the expected amount of work coaches and staff provide. I'm all about driving that one person not only for the benefit of me, but for the whole team and you most importantly. My junior year and the 2010 season, I became a team captain, MVP of my team, most valuable offensive player of my conference, and added to the first team All-area squad of 2010. It is my dream to play football in college, therefore there is not a day that goes by without doing the best I can do in everything I participate in. Even if it’s doing community work, or taking a test I will not rest or let up until whomever I help is satisfied or that test has an "A" on it. Speaking of test and school I am open to many different types of schools. I’m sure I would provide your school with academic diligence and outstanding leadership and maturity on the field. My most important goal is to have an impact on the team and you because stats will come and go, but the team is the definition of a rock-solid foundation and a winning record. I just want to say thank you for your time. I'm so humbled to have the pleasure of writing this personal statement about my endeavor towards a successful future.
