Personal Statement

My name is Zack Thompson, I am a senior at Geneva High School. I have been playing football since sixth grade. I work hard to improve myself and take direction from my parents, teachers, and coaches to help me create success and achieve my goals. I don’t get discouraged when things don’t go my way, I get motivated and work harder. In addition to the Geneva high school football program in which I give 100% everyday since freshman year, I also attend camps and personal strength/speed training that have made me a better football player while improving my skills. I am not afraid to speak up and ask questions. Having good character on the field is very important as is good sportsmanship, but having these traits off the field are just as important to me. My goal is to attend college earning a degree to pursue career with the Secrect Service, FBI, or CIA while playing the game I love.
The excitement and adrenaline I feel being part of a team to achieve success on FRIDAY NIGHTS is a feeling I don’t want to end after my senior year, I have to keep playing football. I would love to play for you.
