Personal Statement
As a Junior and 2nd year varsity starter, I brought knowledge and leadership to my other teammates which contributed to the success of our season. When I was a sophomore on the varsity football squad at Minooka High School, a highlight of mine was competing in the quarterfinals in the state playoffs. My parents and coaches have had a very positive impact on my life. I have been blessed to have so many positive influences over the years. When I was four years old, my mother decided to sign me up for club soccer. It was very evident that I needed to change to football when I was only knocking down and tackling the other kids. Throughout my football career, it has become clear to me that, "You get what you put into it!" I believe this on and off the field. I feel I am unique in that I have been playing football since I was five years old. I have had a chance to experience many positions, which gives me a huge advantage and makes me a great utility player. School is very important to me, and realize that it is important that I stay focused and maintain a high G.P.A. One of my goals is to graduate from college with a degree in business.
